RESOLUTION NO. 2009 - 171
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING THE 2009-10 CITY OF REDDING PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the State of Cali fomi a appropriated a total of$187 million of Proposition IB funds
for cities in 2008-09, of which, $1,338,639.76 has been allocated to the City of Redding; and
WHEREAS, to receive these funds, cities must submit a project plan to the Department of Finance;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Redding, a municipal corporation, approves the plan and the use of
Proposition IB-Local Streets and Roads Improvement, Congestion Relief, and Traffic Safety
Account Funds for the plan; and
WHEREAS, City of Redding funds are available in Fiscal Year 2009-1 0, and the projects included
in the plan for use are heretofore included in the 2009-10 approved budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Redding does
hereby approve the 2009-10 City of Redding Pavement Management plan and approves the use of
Proposition 1B-Local Streets and Roads Improvement, Congestion Relief, and Traffic Safety
Account Funds in FY 2009-10 for the plan.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the I" day of September, 2009, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Dickerson, Jones, McArthur, Stegall, and Bosetti
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
