HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2003-160 - Airport Business ParkRECORDING REQUESTED BY: CITY OF REDDING WHEN RECORDED RETURN TO: CITY OF REDDING CITY CLERKS OFFICE, 3rd Floor 777 CYPRESS AVENUE REDDING CA 96001 IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Recorded REC FEE . ~ Official Records County Of SHASTA CRIS ANOREWS Recorder 03:06PM 31-0et-L:~03 drs Page I of 3 THE AREA ABOVE IS RESERVED FOR RECORDER'S USE RESOLUTION NO. 2003-160 Document Title(s) RESOLUTION NO. 2003- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE TRACT RESTRICTIONS FOR THE REDDING AIRPORT BUSINESS PARK AS SET FORTH IN RESOLUTION NO. 81-95 WHEREAS, on May 18, 1981, the City Council of the City of Redding adopted Resolution No. 81-95, which set forth the tract restrictions for the Redding Airport Business Park; WHEREAS, the purpose of the tract restrictions is to insure proper development and use of the property and to provide for a type and quality of improvement consistent with the development plan; WHEREAS, Section 6.09 of the tract restrictions presently provides that building height on all parcels within the Redding Airport Business Park shall not exceed two stories or 30 feet, whichever is more restrictive; WHEREAS, consideration of building height restrictions for commercial development in the Redding Airport Business Park could be addressed through the zoning process and be consistent with the City's general plan and zoning ordinance; WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City and its Airport to encourage commercial development within the Redding Airport Business Park by allowing the building height to be increased to 45 feet on those parcels having a general plan designation of general commercial; and WHEREAS, two parcels within the Redding Airport Business Park are zoned retail with a general plan' designation of general commercial. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redding hereby amends the "Tract Restrictions, Redding Airport Park" as follows: Ao That Section 6.09 of the Tract Restrictions for the Redding Airport Business Park attached to Resolution No. 81-95 is hereby amended to read "Building height for parcels with the general plan designation of general industry shall not exceed 30 feet." That Section 6.10 is added to the Tract Restrictions for the Redding Airport Business Park to read "Building height for parcels with the general plan designation of general commercial shall not exceed 45 feet." C. That Section 6.11 is added to the Tract Restrictions for the Redding Airport Business Park to read "Exceptions to the height restrictions as set forth in Sections 6.09 and 6.10 are permissible as set forth in Section 18.40.080, Exceptions to Height Limits, of the Redding Municipal Code." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to record a copy of this Resolution in the office of the Shasta County Recorder.
