AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDDING RESCINDING
ORDINANCE NO. 2307 AND AMENDING THE ZO1NING MAP OF THE
CITY OF REDDING RELATING TO THE REZONING OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY lIN THE CITY OF REDDING (RZ-1-03)
The City Council of the City of Redding does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Having found that Ordinance No. 2307 erroneously referred to a nonexistent section of the
Redding Municipal Code, said ordinance is hereby rescinded.
Section 2. That the boundaries of the districts referred to in Section 18.01.050 of the Redding Municipal
Code, as designated on a map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Redding, California," dated January 7, 2003, are
hereby altered as set forth on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof by:
REZONING: 10 Acres at 3939 Churn Creek Road
FROM: "RM-9" Residential Mixed Housing District and "RS-3.5" Residential single
Family District
TO: "RM-9-PD" Residential Mixed Housing District with "PD" Overlay and
"RS-3.5-PD" Residential Single Family District with "PD" Overlay
Section 3. On the basis of the initial study for Rezoning Application RZ- 1-03 prepared by the Development
Services Department, the City Council finds that the subject rezoning will not have a significant effect on the
environment and approves the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Program with the following
findings:
1. The City of Redding has completed a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the rezoning. Based on analysis
of the potential impacts of office development and mitigation measures agreed to by the applicant, the
project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
2. The Mitigated Negative Declaration and its supporting documentation reflect the independent judgment
and analysis of the City of Redding.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of its adoption; and the City Clerk shall
certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that this ordinance was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 21s' day of October 2003 and was read and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on the4th 'd~ay of
November, 2003 by the following vote:
