AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDDING ADOPTING
AN ADDENDUM TO THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION
PREPARED FOR THE CITY OF REDDING ZONING MAP; AND
AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF REDDING ZONING MAP (RZ-9-03).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Findings offact: The City Council finds and declares as follows:
A. The Zoning Map of the City of Redding is incorporated in and made a part of Redding Municipal Code
Title 18, known as the City of Redding Zoning Ordinance.
B. The Planning Commission held duly noticed public hearings pertaining to amendments to the Zoning
Map on August 12, 2003; and recommended that the City Council adopt the attached amendments to
the Zoning Map.
C. The City Council held a duly noticed public hearing on this date, prior to the first reading of this
Ordinance.
D. It has been determined that an Addendum to the Mitigated Negative Declaration previously approved
for adoption of the Zoning Map shows that the proposed map revisions will not have any significant
impact upon the environment.
E. The Addendum and its supporting documentation reflect the independent judgment and analysis of the
City. of Redding.
F. Adoption of this ordinance will not impact the welfare of the citizens of Redding and its surrounding
region.
Section 2. The City Council hereby adopts the Addendum to the Mitigated Negative Declaration
prepared for the City of Redding Zoning Map.
Section 3. The city Council hereby adopts the attached amendments to the City of Redding
Zoning Map, made a part hereof by reference, to be incorporated in Redding Municipal Code Title 18 entitled
Zoning Ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of its adoption, and the City
Clerk shall certify to the adoption thereof and cause its publication according to law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and read by the City Council
of the City of Redding at a regular meeting on the 21 st day of October, 2003; and was duly read and adopted
at a regular meeting on the 4th day November, 2003, by the following vote:
