ORDINANCE NO. 2389
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY FROM "RS-2" AND "RS-3" RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY
DISTRICTS TO "RS-3" RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT AND
"OS" OPEN SPACE DISTRICT AND PRE ZONING TO "RE-I" RESIDENTIAL
ESTATE DISTRICT, "RS-3" RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT, AND
"OS" OPEN SPACE DISTRICT WITIDN A PORTION OF THE WESTRlDGE
MASTER PLAN AND ANNEXATION AREA (RZ-II-03)
The City Council of the City of Redding does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That the boundaries of the districts referred to in Section 18.01.050 of the Redding Municipal
Code, as designated on a map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Redding, California," dated January 7,
2003, are hereby altered as set forth on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof by:
Rezoning and prezoning of that property identified as the Westridge Master Plan and Annexation
Areas site, generally located northeasterly of Power Line Road, easterly of Placer Road, and westerly
of the Canyon Creek Road terminus at Blazingwood Drive.

"RE-l" Residential Estate District, "RS-3" Residential Single Family District, and

SECTION 2. On the basis ofthe information contained in Environmental Impact Report EIR-2-03, the City
Council finds that, with mitigation, the subject rezoning will not have a significant effect on the
environment.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall not take effect until such time that the City Attorney certifies to the City
Clerk that: (1) City of Redding Resolution No. 2007-124, pertaining to General Plan Amendment GP A-3-
04, becomes legally effective and (2) that a minimum 000 days has passed since adoption of the ordinance.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that this ordinance was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 19th day of June, 2007, and was read and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 3rd
day of July, 2007, by the following vote:
