RESOLUTION NO. 2007 - 12
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDDING RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS 97-10 AND 97-52,
RELEASING THE ABATEMENT PROCEEDINGS ON PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 278~ SOUTH MARKET STREET
WHEREAS:
1. On January 7, 1997, and on March 18, 1997, the City Council adopted Resolutions ordering the
abatement of the unsafe and unsightly building and debris pursuant to former Municipal Code Chapter 9.36
on the real property located at 2786 South Market Street, Redding, formerly and currently owned by Grant
G. Griffith.
2. The real property is more particularly described in Exhibit A, made a part hereof by reference.
3. The public nuisance identified in the resolution has been abated by the current owner to the
satisfaction of the Building Division and Fire Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council that the legal proceedings of
abatement on the above property be discontinued and that the City Clerk is directed to cause a certified copy
of this resolution, attested by the Clerk under seal, to be recorded in the office of the Shasta County
Assessor/Recorder.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 6th day of February, 2007, by the following vote:
