THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN DIAGRAM OF THE CITY BY ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT GPA-2-01 WHEREAS, following the required public hearing, the City Council of the City of Redding determined that the General Plan Diagram be amended by incorporating therein the changes contained in General Plan Amendment GP A-2-0 1, involving hat property identified as the Stillwater Business Park site generally located north and south of Rancho Road and east of Stillwater Creek as follows and as shown on the map attached hereto: From "General Industry"; "Park"; "Residential, 5 acres"; and "Greenway" to "General Industry" (397 acres) and "Greenway" (364 acres). The General Plan amendment would also eliminate a future extension of Rancho Road east of the project site as shown on the General Plan Land Use Diagram. WHEREAS, following the required notice in accordance with law, the City Council held a public hearing and carefully considered the evidence at the hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council, having reviewed Environmental Impact S tatementlEnvironmental Impact Report EIR -1-00, stating that with mitigation, the project has no significant impact upon the environment, is the exception of Overriding Findings made for unavoidable cumulative air quality impacts, and hereby amends the General Plan Diagram of the City of Redding by incorporating therein the changes contained in General PI~m Amendment GPA-2-0I as shown on the map attached and made a part hereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redding that this resolution shall not have the force and effect of law and shall not become effective unless and until the Shasta County Airports Land Use commission (ALUC) eith~~r: (1) determines General Plan Amendment GPA-2-0I to be compatible with the Redding Municipal Airpo:rt Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) or (2) amends the Redding Municipal Airport CLUP land use diagram so as to be consistent with the land use classifications of GP A - 2-01.
