AND 7. 20: 01.0, `AND -SUBSTITUTING THEREFOR'NEW SECTIONS,,
'T7.16-030, 7 -16 0.70,' AND 7."20.010, ..PERTAINING TO' IMPOUNDMENT
AND . SALE' OF' -ANIMALS.
The_City Council of the City of.Redding does hereby
ordain as- follows:
Section .l. 'Chapters 7:16 and 7.20_of the Redding,Municipal'
Code are,hereby,amende'd by repealing Sections 7.16.030, 7.16.:050,
7.16.0.70.; and 7.:20.010; and substituting'.'new sections therefor, as.-..,..
follows:
7.16.03.0Strays.
The. animal contro•1- officer. shall..take up and. .receive
into the -.public pound 'all .strays, all dogs. found running.- at large
upon any'�publ'_ c -street, alley, :sidewalk,or public place wi-thin the
city ,. and all such animals as ° may ber -left'=standing and'°attached to
any vehicle,' -without being` • securely fastened' or. having some person
,in .'ch'arge, thereof. He shall hold all .animals for a period of
seventy=two.hours,.excep.tthose coveredzby'Agricultur.e Code Section
1.7003:_ At 'the expiration of said time, .1f unredeemed;v. the
'animal .control officer sliall' cause .dogs ,or. cats - to be destroyed. .

7.16.070: --Redemption. of animals.

he,may do so upon -payment to the animal' control.officer of the
