WHE AS, on lune 1C,, 2026, by Resc�lution I�1c�. 2026-051, the City Council {Ct�uncil} apprc�v�d the Reports of tl�e Engineer as filed with the City Clerk relating ta Sanitary �ewer Maintenat�ce L}istrict 01-07 and O 1-i 9 (L�istricts}, and gave notice of tl�� time and place of the July 21, 2026,public �earin� regarding the levy and collection c�f the assessment fi�r�'iscal Year 2026-27; and �]HE AS, general locatic�ns of the I)istricts are included in the table below, and a map is atta�hed tc�the Enginee�°s Reports an file with tl�e City Clerk; and WHE AS, the public hearing, duly and properly noticed, commenced at the City Council Chambers, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, California on July 21, 2026, and was concluded prior to the adoption of this resoluti�n. At the public hearing, the Council g�.ve ever� int�resteci perscan an c�pportunity to c�bject to the proposed assessment, �HE AS, the assessment for Fiscal Year 2fl25-2� is outlined in the table l�elow. Tl�is assessment does nc�t represent an increase within the rneaning of'the Streets and Highways �ode because the Fiscal Year 2026-27 cast c�f living adjustment in the amount of 2.7 percent is pursuant to a method�lc�gy approved at the time of the farmati�n of the Districts, and WHE AS, all legal prerequisites to the adopti�n ofthis resalution have c�ccurred;• THE Ff7► , THE +CITY CC}UN�IL FINDr�, S()L'YES, I1ETE INE�, ANII7� O ERS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The matters set fc�rth abc�ve are true and eorrect. 2. The maps of the assessment district contained in the Engineer's I2eports are confirmed. 3. The Council has considered all oral statements and written protests or camrnunications made c�r filed by interested persons at the public hearing of July 21, 2fl26, and expressly overrules any ar�d all protests filed objecting to the prc�pc�sed annual assessment and levy amount in the Districts. 4. The Council finds that the Engineer's Reports have fairly and properly apportioned the costs of the i�nprovements to each developable lot, remaining parcel, or assessable ac�e of land in fihe district in propc�rtion to the estimated t�enefits to be receiv�d by each developable lat; remaining parcel,or assessable acre from the improvements. 5. The assessment against each developable iot,remaining parcel, or assessable aere located within the I�istrict for Fiscal Year 2026-27 is confirmed„adopted, and Ievied as outlined in the table below, e�cept that an assessment shall not be levied on prc�perty owned by a federal or state governmental agency or another tocal agency. 6. The �ity Clerk shall farthwith trans�er to the Auditor Cflntroller and the Assessor Recorder of Shasta Cc�unty a c�rtified copy of this 7esohxtion and a certified copy of tlie assessment district maps contained in the Engineer's Report for Sanitary Sewer Maintenance District 01-0"�and 0�-19: 7.
