WHE AS, on June 16, 2426, by Resolution Nc�. 2t126-047, the City Cc�uncil approved the
Reports of the Engineer as filed with the City Clerk relating to the Landscape Maint�nance
Districts c�utlined �n the table below and gave nt��ice of the tirne and place c�f tl�e July 21, ���6,
public hearing regarding the levy and collection af assessrnents f�r Fiscal Year�;�26-27; and
WHE AS, a general locatian of each I7istrict is included in the table below, and rnaps of these
Districts are attached to th�En;ineer's Reports c�n fil�with the City Clerk, and
WHE �S, the purpose �f these Districts is tc� �ravide rnaintenance tcr those landscaping
impravements required within the public rights-c�f way andlor easements by the canditions af
de�velopment approval fc�r each District and the general lc�cations as outlined in the table below;
and
WHE AS, the Engineer has filed his Repart with the City Clerk pursuant to Streets and
Highways Code Sectian 22565, et seq; and
WHE AS, this IZesoluti�n is made in satisfaction of thc�se requirements set forth in the Streets
and Highways Code Section 22631; and
�'HE AS,the assessments far the Fiscal Year 2t�26-27 are not an increase within the meaning
af Streets and Highways Code §22624 and 22630.5 because the cc�st-of-living adjustment provided
for herein was approved at the time of the forrnation of'the Districts;and
WHE AS,the public hearing, duly and properly nc�ticed, eommenc�d at the Gc�uncil Chambers,
777 Cypress Avenue; Redding, Califc�rnia, on .Tuly 21, �026, and was concluded prit�r tc� the
adoption of this resolution. At the public hearing, the Council gave every interested p�rs�n an
opportunity to obj�ct tc� the propc�sed assessments; and
WHE ' AS, all legal prerequisites to the adoption of this resolution have occurred,

1: The matters set forth above are t�:ue, correct, and are adopted herein.
2. Pt�rsuant to the Streets and Highways C�de §22�31, the maps ofthe assessment districts
addressed herein and cantained in the Engineer's R�port as filed is hereby approv�d.
3. The Engineer's R�pr�rts, on fi1� with the City Clerk, cc�ntain a complete and detailed
descriptian of the irnprovements, the boundaries o�the District and any zones therein, and
the proposed assessments upon the assessable acres and remaining parcels within tk�e
clistricts,
4. The existing improvements fc�r each subdivision in the Districts are outlined xn Part B of
the Engineer's Reports c�n file with the City �lerk.
5. The general Iocations of the aCres and remaininb parcels in tihe District are outlined in Part
A of the Engine�r's Reports c�n file with the City Clerk.
6. Only costs far the �naintenance of landscaping, miscellaneous lighting, mulching,
vandalism, repairs to the irrigatian system, electric and water charges, replacement of
vegetatic�n as necessary, removal t�f trimmings, rubbish, and debris, maintenance c�f the
detention basin; and ather improvements to remove or co�er graffiti, administrative costs,
painting of any wa11s, and such otker maintenance and inciclental expenses as �re
authorized by Streets and Highways Cc�de Sectiflns 22526 and 2253�, will b� assessed.
7. The assessments �gainst each developable lot or remaining parcel located within the
Distriets for Fiscal Year 2fl26-27 are confirmed,adc�pted,and levied as outlined in the table
below,except that an assessznent sha11 not be levied�n prfl�erty c�wned by a federal c�r state
governmental agency or another local ��ency.
8. The City Clerk shall give notice of said hearing according to the Streets and Highway�
Cc�de Section 22b26�a).
