AND DECLA 1�TG ITS INTENTICI►N TC?: (1) �CONFIRMIlVG THE MAPS (�F TI�[E ASSESSIYTEI�1"T LII�TR�CT� �t7N'TAINED IN T"HE ENGINEER'S PCIRTS �?lY FILE WITH THE CITY�LE ; AND (2) CCJ►1�iFI INaG THE �NNUAL A�SESSMENTS AND Cl ERING THE LEVY AMt�UNTS FOR FISCAL 'YEAR 2426-27 Pt,TRSUANT TO THE LANllSCAPIN+G AND LIGHTING ACT �F 19"72, �t�MMEN+CING WITH SECTIC?N 22500 OF THE ST ETS AND► HIGHWAYS Ct�DE; WHEREAS, on June lC, 2026; by Resolution No. 2026-046, the City Cc�uncil approved the Repo�-ts of the E��gineer as filed with the City Clerk relating to the La�adscape Ma�ntenance Districts outli�led in tl�e table belov✓ and gave 1�ac�tice af the time and place of the Ja.�ly 21, 2026, public hearing regarding the levy and collectior�of assessinents for Fiscal Year 2026-2?; and WHEI2EAS, a general lacation of each I�istrict is included il�the table belc�w; and maps of these Districts are attached to the Engineer's Reports on�le with the City Clerk; and WHERE�S,the purpose of these Districts is to provide maintenarxce to those landscaping iinprovements required within the public rights-of-way and/or easements by tlle cdnditic�ns r�f develtrpment appraval for each District and the genel•ai locations as outlined in the table bel�wy and WI�EREAS,the Engineer has filed his Repc�rt with the City C1er�: pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 225�5,et seqj and VV ' AS, this Resolutian is made in satisfactian of those req�iirements set forth ii7 t[�e St��eets and Hi�hways Code Section 22631, and WHE12EA5, the public heac•in�, d�ily and properly noticed, ct�mrnenc�d at the Council Chambers, 777 Cypress Avenue; Redding, California, on July 21, 2026, and was conclucied prior to the adopti�n af this resolution. At the piiblic Iiearing, the Council gave every interested person an oppartunity to object to the prc�posed assessments;and WHE�2EA5, all Iegal prerequisites to the adoption ofthis resolution h�:ve occurred; NOW,THEREFURE,IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY CC?UNCIL THAT. 1: The rnatters set forth above are true,cc�rrect,and are adflpted l�erein. 2. Pursuant to the Streets and Hibhways Code �2262i; t�e maps of#he assess�nent districts addressed herein and contained in the Engineer's Report are confirmed. 3. The Engineer's Report, on file wi#h the City Clerk, cc�ntains a cornpl�te and d�tailed description of the improvernents,the b�undaries of the I)istrict and any zones therein,and the prapased assessment� upon the assessable acces and remainin�parcels within the I�istrict. 4. The existing improvements f�r each subdivision in the Distrrct are outlined in Part B of the Enginee�•'s Repr�rts on fle with the City Clerk. 5. Tlae genecal locatio�ls of the aeres and I-emaining paccels in tlae District at-e outlined in Par�t A of the En�inee�-'s Reports on tile with the City Clerk. 6. Only costs for the inaintenance of landscapitl;, miscellaneous lighting,mulchin�; varldalism,repairs to tlie irr�iaatian systern, electric and vvater ciiar;es, replacement of ve�,etatian as necess�iy, relnc�val of tr�irninings, rubbisl�, a�id debris, maintenance of t17e detention basin, and other impt•oveinents to remove oi cover graffiti, �dministrative costs, pailYting of ar�y walls, ar�d;such other�naintenance and incidental e�penses as are autl7arized by Streets and Hi;hways Gade Sections 225�& and 22531 will be assessed. 7.
