W E r�S, the City Cc�uncil heretofore ordered the consolidated fc�rmation of the Landscape
Maintenance Districts under authority grant�d by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 as
outlined in Part 2 of�i�ision 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Califomia; and
� E A�, the purpc�se of these Districts is to prc�vide rnaintenance to those Iandscaping
impr�vements req�ir�d within the public rxghts-of-wa.y andlor �asements l�y the c�nditic�ns of
development approval for each District and the general locafrans as outlined in the table below;
and
�VI-�El�A�, the Engineer has filed his report with the City Clerk according to Streets and
Highways Code Sectic�n 22565, et seq.7 and
�VHE A�, this Resolution is made to satisfy those requirements outlined in the Streets and
Highways Cod� Section 22624; and
'6�VHE ' �S, the assessments for the Fiscal Year 2026-27 are not an increase within the meaning
af Streets and Highways Code §22624 and 22630.5 because the cost-of-living adjustment provided
for herein was approved at the time of the forrnatic�n of the I�istricts;

1, The matters �et forth above are true, correct, and are adopted herein.
2, According to the Streets and Highways Cade §22623, the Engineer's Report as filed is
herebY approved.
3. The Engineer's Reparts, on file with the City Clerk, contain a complete and detailed
description of the improvements, the boundaries of the I7istrict and any zc�nes therein, and
the praposed assessments upon th� assessable acres and rernaining parcels within the
districts�.
4. The existing impravements far each subdivision in the Districts are outlined in Part B of
the Engin�er's R.eports c�n file with the City Clerk.
5. The general loeations of the acres and remaining parcels in the District are outlined in Part
A af the Engineer's R�ports on file with the City Clerk.
6. Only costs for the maintenanc� af landscaping, miscellan�ous lighting, mulching,
vandalism, �epairs ta the irrigation system, electric and water charges, replacement of
vegetation as necessary, removal of trimmings, rubbish, and debris, maintenance of the
detentian basin, and other improvements to remc�ve or cover graf�ti, administrative costs,
painting of any walls, and such other rnainten�nce and incidental expenses as are
authorized by Streets and Highways Code Sectians 22526 and 225�l, will be assessed.
7. A puhlic hearing will be heid an Tuesday, July 21 th, 2026, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the City Cauncil Chambers located at 777
Cypress Avenue, Reddinb, California, to address the confirmation and appro�al of the
proposed assessment fc�r the Fiscal Year 2026-27. The proposed assessment for the Fiscal
Year Zfl26-27 is outlined in the table below. The Council intends to levy said asses�ment
in the amounf also il�dlcated in the table below for the Fiscal Year 2026-27.
8. The City Clerk shall give notice of said hearing accarding tc� the S�reets and Highways
Code Sectifln 22626{a).
