E AS, the U.S'. Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUI7) has informed the
City of certain amendments to 24 CFR Parts 91, 92, 5�6, and 968; and
'47V E AS, such amendments mandate the develapment an� submission o�an Action Plan in
order foz the City to cantinue in certain HUI7 progratns and cantent, and
�HE A�, the City has prepared an A:ction 1'lan accarding ta HUD specifications as to form
and content; an�l
WHE A�, following the required notices in accordance with law, the City C�uncil of the City
of Redding has held a public hearing c�n the prQposed Actian Flan; and
��IE �S, the City Council has cQnsidered all public comrnents received regarding the
pr�posed Actit�n�'lan; and
t�'�IEREAS, the �ity Ccsuncil �ias studied the certifications required by HUD in connection
herewith and has agrzed to same;
Ii�4��, 7C' � FO , BE I'�' S�L�E by the City Council of the City of Redding as
follows:
1. The City Council dc�es hereby accept the Action Plan for 2026-27,
2, The City Council does hereby authc�rize the City Ivlanager,ifnecessary, to adjust the final
funding allocations for the CDBG and HOME Programs identified in the Action Plan based
on any future funding notices received from the U.S. Department af Housing and Urban
LL�evelopment.
3. The City Council does hereby direct the City Manager,or his designee,to,sign all necessary
documents, including certificatic�ns, c�n behalf af the City and to forward the Action Plan
to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban I?evelopment.

City Council af the City of Redding on the Sth day of May, 2026; and was duly adopted at said
