E A�, the City of Redding has the authority to construct, ogerate, and maintain the Turtle
Bay Boat Ramp,and
WHE A�, the City of Redding is requesting a $�,000,000 grant/loan from the Department of
Boating and Waterways,and
�V E AS, the City of Redding desires ta enhance, repair, or rebuild and protect the Turtle
Bay Boat Ramp to meet the needs of watercraft users and pravide other public amenities ta those
utilizing the facility;
1�T T �+ F ,�E I'T SOLVED SY TI�E CITY COUNCIL THt�iT:
1. Pursuant and subject to all c�f the terms and pr�visions of the Harbor and Watercraft Revolving
Fund program, a�plication be made by the City c�f Redding to the State of California,
J�epartment of Boating and Waterways for funding.
2. The +City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause the necessary data ta be
prepared and application to be �igned and filed with the State of California Department of
Boating and Waterways.
