A SOLUTION OF THE CITY +C(7UNCIL OF THE CITY 4F DDING
r�DOP"TIN+G THE DDING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN FQR
2024-25 TO 2029-30
WHE AS, a Capital Impravement Flan (CIl') has been prepared which identifies the City's
long-term capital impravement project needs in a cornprehensive and cansistent farmat; and
�VHE AS, the CIP was prepared in a format and with content that is consistent wi#h the
requirements c�f Governinent Code section b60�2, which establishes requirements far the
preparation of a CIP that includes projeets subject to develapment impact fees, and
V�HE AS,the CTP was reviewed by the Redding Planning Commission on June 10, 2025, and
was apprdved as consistent with the General Pian pursuant tc� Government Code section 65103',
and
WHE AS} on January 20, 202�; the City Council held a duly nc�ticed public hearing to allow
appc�rtunity ft�r public comment c�n the draft CIP; and
WHE A�,having satisfied the requirements of law goverriing preparatian,content,general plan
consistency, and opportunity fcar public review; the City Council wish�s ta adopt said CIP to
formalize the document so it can become a�ailable for cansideratic�n i� budgeting, land use
planning, and accounting, among other benefits,
N�W, THE FO , BE IT RE�OLVED that the City Council t�f the City of Redding does
hereby appr�ve and adr�pt the Redding Capital Imprc�vement 1'3an for��24-25 to 2i?29-30 included
herewith as Attachment "A."
I HE $Y �ERTIFY that the fbregoing resoiution was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Cauncil of the City of Redding an the 20th day of January, 2Q2b, and vvas adopted at said
meeting by the following vote:
