WHE ' AS, the City of Redding has had a range of impact fees in effect far several years; and
WHER�AS, California Go�ernment Cade sections 6bOt�0, et seq. define specific reporting
requirements to provide for a public ac�aunting of revenues and expenditures in th� Impact Fee
Program. The reporting rnust be available to the public within 180 days of the end Qf the fiscal
year, and the City Council �nust�eview the informati�n not earlier than 15 days c�f availability to
the public. In the fifth year after funds are fit�st deposited, and annually thereafter, the City rnust
make certain findings cc�ncerning the status of those monies; and
WHE AS, to satisfy these requirements, staff has prepared a Mitigatian Fe�Act Repart Update
for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025 (the Report}. A public notice of the availability of the
Report was published in the Record Searchlight newspaper on December 2�, 2025, and
WHE E4S, the City Council has accepted the l�eport on today's date, prior to the adoption of
this Resolution; and
WHE�EEAS, all legal prerequisites ta the adc�ptit�n of this Resc�lution h�ve c�ccurred;

1. The matters set fc�rth above are true and correet.
2. Pursuant tt� California Government Gode section 66001, the City Council makes the
finding that a11 the fi�llowing reporting requirements have been met cancerning all the
impact fee accounts with unexpended funds, as detailed in the Mitigation Fee Act Report
Update for the fiscal year ended June 30; 2Q25:
a, A brief description af the type of fee in the account or fi�nd, (Gov. Code §
b600b(b)(1){A).)
b. The amount of the fee. (Gav. Code � 66006(b)(1)(B);.)
c. The beginning and ending b�lance of the account or fund. (Gov. Code §
66006(b)(1)(G).)
d. The amQunt of the fees callected and the interest earned. {Gov. Code �
66006{b)(1)(D).)
e. An identiFication of each public improvement on vvhicl� fees were expended and
the amount afthe expenditures on each impravement,including the total percentage
of fihe cost of the public improvements that was funded with fees. (Gov. C�de §
66006{b){1)(Ej.)
£ An identification of an approximate date by which the construction of the public
improvement will commence if the local agency determines that sufficient funds
hav� been collected to compete financing on an incomplete public improvernent.

g. A description of each interfund transfer or loan, including the pu�lic imprc�vement
on which the tran�fer�ed or loaned fees will be expended and, in the case of a lc�an,
when the loan will be repaid and the rate �f ir�tere�t the loan will receive. (Gov.
