SUBJECT: 9.1(b)--Accept oral report from Ad Hoc Committee regarding funding for the
Civic Auditorium.
Recommendation
Accept oral report from the ad hoc committee members, Mayor Pro Tempore Erin Resner, and
Council Member Tenessa Audette, regarding funding for the Civic Auditorium, and provide
direction to staff.
Fiscal Impact
There is no fiscal impact resulting from the formation of an ad hoc committee and subsequent
discussions.
Background/Analysis
At its December 16, 2025, City Council meeting, during discussion of Item 12, Mayor Pro
Tempore Resner suggested forming an ad hoc committee, and the Council reached consensus to
do so. The ad hoc committee's purpose is to engage with entities that may benefit from and
provide financial support to the Civic A�uditorium while the City evaluates its ability to offer
additional funding.
Environmental Review
This is not a project defined under the California Environment Quality Act, and no further action
is reguired.
