�IE AS;Public Cantract Code section 2205{�and Redding Municipal Code 4.22.120(A)_pravide
that;in the case of einei:bency,a public agency may repair or replace a public facility,take any directly
relater� and irrunedi�te action required by that emergency, and procure the necessary equipment;
services, and supplies for t17as�purpases withaut giving notice for bids to let contracts;and
WHE AS, on February 4, 2025,the City Council adopted Resolution Na, 2025-006, authorizing
emergency action pursuant to Public Contr�ct ��de section 22050 and Redding Municipal Code
4.22.120(A)to repair the water system and roadway at the South Street railroad crossing; and
WHE AS, woik has been cotnpleted to repair and replace the broken water main pipe and asphalt
concrete pavement damaged due ta the water break and the repaired utility service and road is back
c�pen to the p�blic; and
WHER�AS,it is conternplated that any further wark an South Street infrastructure can be completed
by gi�ving natice for bid.s to let contracts,

1. The City Council of th� �ity r�f Redding finds that the recitals set forth above are tru�e and
correct and are hereby adopted as findings of fact.
2. Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22050 and Redding Municipal Code 4.22.120(A),
the emergency actian declared by Resolution 2025-�Ob is hereby terminated.
I HE BY CE�TZFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Gity Council of the City of Redding on the 7th day crf October; 2025, by the followrr�g vote:
