' SEvdER 1�EP�TAL CHARG.F�S:
A group of citizens appeared before the City Council to protest of
the Sewer.l3ental charges to them under Ordinance No. 353; I�,�ayor Anderson
explained in full the cause f.or such a fee; also protested certain
publicity by the local netivspaper which he co��erlded puts the City Council
in a bad light. ��ii�ong those taking part in tY�e discussion was: I�rdr�k
Baker, 1l�24 Spruce St; C.E. I3igelow, 2316 Sh�.sta St; :�':,G. Flt'L�;�'I'ald,
1545 Court St; Robert I�rause, 2�.59 I'lacer St; Jack Dov��nare, and L.S.
�cott who reside in the Garden Subdivision. The f ee was dee�ed
necess�3ry by the City Council, but they welcomed suggestions lvhich might
replace such a fee.

Git�vn�A���orney to execute a claim to the;.�tate of Calif'ornia, Dept of
Finance f'or second allotit�ent of. funds applyin� to construction of the
sevaape disposal plant in the City of :�tedding. Voting:

The City Council authorized the City l;�igr to proceed if allowed by the
City Code.
