GAF BAGS RATES:
Councilman Buchea moved, seconded by Councilman Swarts that an Ordinance
pe prepared to raise Domestic Garbage rates be raised in the amount of
25 cents per month per, user. Voting was as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen: Bachea., haskell, Swarts and Anderson
Noes' Councilmen: None
Absent: Coancilman Dunlap
BUL ISSUES:

construction of a Swimming fool, FJater System Iiprovements and to

The purpose ofthis meeting is City Council sitting as Board of Equalization
of Taxes and Budget Meeting.
The Meeting was called to order by Mayor Anderson. On roll -call the follow-
ing Council, -,en were present: Buchea, Dunlap, Haskell, Sl,^:arts and Anderson,
PROTEST ASSESSMENT: HOP"ACE Fl M.
Mr. Herace Firth protested amount of assessment of Improvements on Lot 3,
Block 21�, Original Town of Hedding. It is his contention that said build-
ing is over -assessed by 500.
As a ;natter of record, the City manager wished the City Council to accept
the wages as set-up in the proposed budget,
DELINQUENT TAXES:
Mr. Joseph Sauer asked the City Council to cancel certain delinquent taxes
on BoardmAn Add, lots in order that the lots may be added to the current
tax rolls. He was referred to the City Atty.

EXTENSION OF AKARD AVELIUE:
Councilman .Buchea moved, seconded by Councilman Swarts that the City
negotiate with Geo. Peterson for land to extend Akard Ave on regular
basis of acquiring land in that locality and if not accepted, condemna-
tion proceedings be instituted. Voting was as follows:

TENTATIVE TAX RATE:
Councilman Buchea moved, seconded by Councilman Swarts that the 191+7-48
Budget as riepresent form, and a tax rate of $1.53 per C be tentatively
adopted. Voting was as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen: Buchea, Dunlap Haskell, Swarts and Anderson.
Noes: Councilmen: None
