Division of Forestry dated January 22, 1947, stating tr:at as the situation now stands, the buildings on land recently purchased from the City of 1?.edd:ng b,�r the State ofCalif. and is in possession of the State are deemed property of the State of Calif. Noes: Councilmen: None Absent: Councilrnen: T�ione It suggested by Couhcilrnan Anderson that recommendations as set forth in the above audit be followed. After general discussion, decision was held for fur�her study. RESOLUTIOPJ N0. 1471: re: NATIC)NAL FOFtESTS: . Councilman Anderson moved that the City Attorney be authorized to draw up Resolution No. 1471 to petition Congress to provide adequate funds to the United States Forest Service for suppression of Forest Fires and control of rodents and g��her pests. And that said Resolution be forwarded , to Washington D, C. by the Cit�r.Ivianager. Motion was seconded by Councilrnan Haskell. Anderson to adopt Reso. #1473: granting Southern Pacific Company permission to construct a s�aur tract across R.ailroad Ave. at or near South Street. Noes: Cour�.iclmen: None � Absent Councilmen: None C OF R CGh�PREHENSIVE LIABILITY INSURANCE: � City Attorney Carlton called ��e�City Council's attention to the fact that the City's Cor.iprehensive Liability Insurance is low. After general dis- cussion, Clark R. P1ye was authorized to make a survey of all city ���¢�,a� insurance policies; a study to be made by �ir. Nye, the City Atty and tY,e ` Ci.ty ld�anager and presented to the City Council. MANAG�HIP OF THE REDDING �IUNICIPAL AIRPORT: City tvianc�ger Neal read three petitions f rom different parties who are interested in mana�ing the Redding �iunici�pal Airport, namely: 1. Pacific Air Transport � 2. Benna and Vdard 3. Dunbar and H. J. Bachtold Copies of these letters to be supplied to the City Council by the Cit,y �ianager's office.
