Kennedy, 1851� 6ontinental Street, appeared, asking the Council to take care of the grade in the street betwean East a nd Coritinental Streets. ' The City Attorr�ey was ordered to draw up any easements necessary tA cut down , the pitch in the grade. City-County A�rport Attorney Richard� Eaton appeared for Arthur Ferl �.nd proposed a transaction in �vhich the County v�uld release the airport to the Cit;� of Redding. The City �Zanager stated that �he . District Attorney was authori zed. by th e Board of Supervisors to sell the Coun�s interest to the City at �3750,00 or one-half cost to the City and County. `I'he City Attorney was ordered to see th at title is clear on the property. Then Councilman Dunlap moved th at the Cit y Attorney and the City Manager be authorized to �oc�ed with negotiations with the District Attor ney. Tidewater Associa.ted Oil Co, Protests were read from Nja.tt Sawger and H.H.Shuf'fleton, Jr. to the Tidewater : associated Oil Corc��ny's ihstallation of one 12,000 gallon capacity butane storage tank. But with a Boa rd ofFire Underwriter's okey on same and gasoline �� tanks to be underground, Councilman Dunlap m�ved, and it was seconded by � Councilman Haskell to grant perrnission fo r th e installation.
