The meet-i.n� was called to order by Mayor Buchea. On roll--call the -
fol.lowing �ouncilmen were present: !�ndersonp .Dunlap, Haskell,
Swarts and Buchea.
The minutes of the orevious meeting were approve3 as corrected. �

The following residents of South �Ytarket a�d Pine Streets namely:
L. Pennington, �bbotts, Wilburs, Johnsons, and VJ. G. Hill were
present to protest operation. of a skating rink at the corner of Pine
and Lincoln Streets. Councilman Haskell moved that the City Counci�.
oppose the -cons,truction of any bu;lding in a Commercial Zone �uch as
a skating rink that would constitute a nuisance; and that the City
Attorney p�epare sucha Resotution. M�ng was seconded by Council-
man Dunlap. �Toting was as follows:

The Pacific Gas and Electric Company's applicatian to install a 25,000
