proposed .agreement for Easements of �ight oP'�Pay betw�en Zellerbach Paper Co.
and Gity of Redd�ng; but as new members of the Cit� Council were not familiar
vuith the situation, it was t e decision of the City Counc3.l to hold up further
negotia�ions until they�looked into,�.¢:.s�+�.�as'ZY.��,

Jr Chamber of Commeree = Park, Julp 3 & 4. 19!�6.
Darrell Davis asked for .the City Park, concessions,; and dance floor for the
days July 3 and L,., 1946, for, the use of the Jr Chamber of. Commerce.
Councilman Swarts made�-ar-motion, seconded by Councilman Dunla.p to grant
same' nrov�ding they are covered with adequate lia�ility insuranee. Voting

John Spencer, Chairma.n of the Childrens Spring Fiesta Com..mittee, asked for

l�rs. Reynolds and Mr. Meiskers. Councilman Anderson moved to grant the
�100000 dona,tion. Councilman Swarts seconded the motion and vo�ing was as follocvs:

Councilman Anderson made a motion that the transfer of property as per map
accepted by the City Enginiaer indicates, and description as follows:
TO ZELLERBACH PAPER .COMPANY.FROM. THE CITY OF REDDING
"Beginnin� at the North B9est corner of Lot 7 of Honn�s Addition to the City
of Redding and running thence Pt 72 de�rees 20 minutes East on and along the
North line of said Lot .? a distance. of.. 110 feet., .thence South 19 degrees 22
minutes �est a distance of 122.92 ,feet.,. thenc,e. .on and along a curve to the

HEARING TO REZONE EAST STREET
After hearing application and protesta on rezoning of East Street from
Tehama Street 1/2 block East and �Jest to Sacramento Str�et� Councilman
5warts made a motion, seconded by Counc3lman Anderson, to hold any decision
in the matter over until the Planr.ing advisor, due to arrive in Redding on
�llay 3rd, looks into the situation. Voting was as follo�vs.

Councilman Ariderson made a motion� to instruct the City gttorney to carry
on with C. Swarts and Harry Bostwick a study of diversion of heavy traffic
off Market Street. This motion was seconded by Councilman Swarts. Voting
