Attorney Cibula appeared and asked for a contribution from the City Council
for tr�e American Red Cros�. Councilma.n Brennan made a motion, seconded by
�� Councilman Anderson to donate �300.00 to the Red Cross, and th�surn of
�1500,00 to the Chamber of Commerce, Voting wws as follows:

INSURANCE ON CITY PROPERTY
Clark R, Nye, Insurance Agent presented the City Council with a statement
of values on. prope�ty belonging to the City of Redding. This showed an
�- increase of �13,500.00 over the entire schedule, Councilman Anderson _
made a motion, seconded by Couniclrnan Haskell to accept the statement of
values dated 3�1/46 and authorize the l�ayor to sign same. Voting was as
follows:

TRUCI� ROUTE
Upon inquiry of Fred Eastlund, and a report by the City Engineer on the
proposed Truck Route for the City of Redding, Mayor Dunlap appointed �,
Eastlund as ahai.rman with Wm. �uinlan and City Atty Newton as a Committee
to work o� ao,quisitian of rights of way needed for the truck route. No
report had been received from the State of California on a Traffic Survey
to this date.

decision was not satisfactory, and asked the ity Council to set a date
for a hearing on the sub3ect. Gouncilman Haskell made a motioz�' seconded
