Absent: None CITY A�ANAGEN, PLAN - RESO. #1386 The �ity �anager plan was reviewed by Atty Newton as revised by the Chamber of Commerce Committee and City Council Committee. Councilman Anderson made a motion, seconded by Coun�ilman Hemsted to adopt Resolution #13$6 approving �ropa�ed-C�ity �anager Plan-Ordinance with Amendments and subittit it to. the . vote=�of the people. Voting was .as follows: Ayes: Councilmen: Anderson, Brennan, Haskel�.;�t�,Hemsted and Dunlap. � STI2EET TRANSPORTATIQN �� �/3�� Attorney L. J. Kennedy and Wm,- ::T. Alward_:appeared before the City Council and ::..::-�..�:;. .:�. asked for an okay on a revised Street Bus Route. The Council gave Alward leeway to change his routes until he has had sufficient time to organize his system. REFUSE CANS Wes. Emerson, Susanville, California showed the City Council a sample refuse can which would display advertising that would be set about the City on � contract. The City Council said thay would look into such set-up in Napa orReno before considering a con�ract, VdATER - ADAB�S TRACT 2�z�. J. W. Kennicot, 2556 Russell Street, appeared before theCCity Council � with a petition asking for water in that part of the Ad�ms Tract that is within the City I,imits. This matter was referred to theCity Engineer to ' check on. � ��� *~ WATER RATE� _ . ��'� /�3�� � -� �R.'� After much discussion with the Chamber ofCommerce Committee appointed to check on Water Rates, CounciLnan.Br.ennan made a motion sQconded by Council- man Haskell to authorize the. �ity. attorney to prepare a resolution to adopt rates as recommended by the_ Chamber of Commerce Committee. Voting was as follows: Ayea: Councilmen: Anderson, Brennan, Haskell,Hemsted and Dunlap Noes: CounciLnen: None Absent: Councilmen: None Hangars for RIDDING FLYING CLUB Merle Larson spokesman for the Redding Flying Clubexplained to the Council - that they hav� a non-profit organization to promote local aviation, but do not have adequate hangars. He proposed the club obtain a lease from the City and erect hangars, or �.hat the City erect them and charge a nominal rental. Alma Hinds of the H, and H Flyin� School offered to collect the rental and turn it over to the City with no obligation. Akard that the City Council �appoint a full Planning Com�iission and demand regular Attendance, Mr. Akard was asked by the °`� Council to contact members and find out how many were interested in stay ing on the Comraission. � SI�NAIS AND PARKING Chief of Police Balma reported that he would have a report on stop signals at a later date as there is a State man working on the proble�;and that mor� study should be given to the parking problem.
