On roll-call the follocrtng Cauncilmen vere present: Anderaon, Brennan,
Buchea and Dunlap.

A motion. was made by Councilman Anderson, saconded by Counci].vnan Brennan to
dispense with the reading of the minutea until the neat designated meeting.

Councilman Brennan made a motion, seconded by Cauncilman Anderson to adopt
Resolution No. 13d7 , adsourning this regular meeting to June 25, i945 in
respect to Auguet H. Cronwoldt, deceased. Voting was as follows: .

' Nine cluba, namely: Business and Prefeasional Women, Lions, Rotary, 19omen`s
Improvement, KiFranis,Sportsmen, Moose, IIgs, and the Recreation Coffiaission
Yiad repreaentativea at this meeting to.ask for a svri�ning pool to be built
on the grammar School" aite at i4est and St�asta Streeta. They were not in
Pavor oP the P1&nning Co�ission's reca�endation to build the pool in the
North Gity Park end asked for a standing vote, which was not taken.
APter much discussion and argument, Councilman Anderaon made a motion,
seconded by Councilman Euchea that a pool be built at the Gra�ar School
grounda. Voting was as follows: •

two weeka to complete the •1945-46 assessment roll.

SHASTA DAM HOUSES '
H. S, Generes, appeared to Pind out �hat action had been taken on Shasta
Dam houses coming into the City. Mr. Saeltzer, Bldg Znspector, steted that
as long as the plans and apeciYfcatione were vtithin the building code he
could not stop them. Councilman Brennan made a motion, seconded by Council-
man Buchea to authorize City Atty Newton to prepare an Ordinance aboli:ehing
Or�inance No, j� authorizing construction oP buildings with 2a" centers on
studding in place of 16" centers. Voting in Pavor of this motion vas
unanimous.
As there was no further business, the m8eting was ad�ourned.
