The Cpuncil was in favor of tk� no parking zone but further checking would be
neces5��y9 before a fina3. decision could be made .
HOUSES �From Shasta Dam Area
� Several people were present to discues bringinb houses into town from the Shasta
Dam area, �l�T. H. Ber�h said he had bought.a, lot, lived �up to Building Coc�e to tY�e
extent of ylecttic �viring, water ��� �e�v�� connecti.ons and to install patent
flues on these houses;but that they have studs on 2Ll. rather than l�i inch centers.
He says in the course of the work he has filled in a lake in the SchererAddition

the houses supported his tes�imony� saying that the houses are strong and �.�eTl

changing the code tYiere �vould be no end of changing. -
The Council decidecl that the Code �ould 1ae revised to a11ow 24 inch centers on
at.ucs in place of 16 inch centers; otherv�rise all.Builcungs wou�.d 'nave to stand up .
