b7r. Slau�hter, resident on NZagnolia Ave. appeared and as�ed the Council tY�at
so�thing �e d�ne aoout water drainin� from the I�1a�nolia Street School in -
bad weather, over his property. Before the school was built, other str�ets r--�
drains helped to take care of this excess waLer. He said t�at there was ���
a dedieated alley that could take care of the drain and that prope�y ov�ners _
agree to help with t'rie expense if this would be�::tt�kcn care of. �'he Clerk 1
caas asked to look up property deeds �nd Cit;/ �ngineer c�as requested to look � �j__�
over the situation to bee �vhat might be done about it.

P.ir. Joe Dia2 appeared before the City Council and asked to buy City's interest
in lots on Pleasant Street at price of 45.00 for all d�f them. He has already
paid up tae County taxes on them, but the City de�ided to keep their interest,

that lease had been cancelled on the C. C. buildings. T��ir. Pearl reported that
there have been inquiries from prospective buyers ior this property.
