Gronv�oldt and upon roll call by the CiLy Clerk tne f ollowin� Councilmen were present:-Anderson, �3uchea, Dunlap, Harrison and Gronwoldt. City t�ttorne,y Glenn D. Newton was also present. The minutes of' the meetin�; of S���t. 20, 1a�3 were approved as read. Card Room Lice�ses Application of `Pheodore Fapa�ini to operate a card room of not more than three tables was approved by tne iollowin6 vote:- ayes:-Anderson, �3uchea, Dunlap, Harrison and Gronwoldt noes:-none absent;-none Spraying Elm Treas Mrs. B. F. Saylor appeared before the City Council and asked that her trees be sprayed again, and was promised action on this matter. iu�r. Clyde Hann-ti'�ar Chest fv1r. John Stevenson appeared before the City Council requesting that the City Council pay part of a license fae wtiich the State is trying to collect from hirn. No action was, taken at this time. Newton, City �ttorney was instructed to prepare a resolution approvin� the plan. L�lectric �'urnace ?vIr. E. �;. Dick, Supt. of the Elzctric Deoartment stated tno Gerlinger Foundry waQ to install an electric furnaca and re- questsd a leave of absence zor a couple oz days to make an investi�ation about tn� installin�; of this flzrnace as it rvould require some expense on the part o� the City Llectric Dept.
