Adjourned ROgular Meeting
The meeting was called to order by Mayor August H. Gronwoldt and
upon roll call by, the City Clerk the following councilmen were
resent Anderson, Buchea, Dunlap, Harrison, and Gronwoldt.
City Attorney Glenn D. Newton was also present;
The meeting was called for thel purpose, of hearing and protests
against the proposed assessments and also for discussing the
budget.:
NO furhter business the meeting was adjourned until July 8, 1943►
at 2:00 P. M

Adjouned regular meeting
The meeting was called to order by Mayor August H. Gonwoldt and upon
roll call by the City Clerk the following Councilmen were present: -
Anderson, Buchea, Dunlap; and -Harrison, and Gronwoldt.
The meeting was called for the purpose of hearing any protests against
the proposed assessments and•also for discussing the budget:
Mr. Northcut of Northcuts Luber Mill located on the Highway.just'
south'of the underpass appeared before the City -Council and discussed
at some length the sending of the City's.Fire equipment to his mill
when it was endangered by fire. It.was suggested by the City Council
that Fire Chief Klaukens and Air. Northcut get•.together'and cofae to
sam6, agreem+eat as'to what compensation the Fire Department should
receive for service rendered.
Mr. Howard Thatcher, Mr. Fitzpatrick, and Mr. Carl Winetrout appeared
before the Council, asking that the. Council enclude in the City's
Budget $3000.00 for the Redding Chamber of Commerce for the fiscal-
year
iscalyear and by the following vote this amount was approved.
