Special Meeting
The meeting was called to order by Mayor August H. Gronwoldt and upon roll
-cal-1--by the.City Clerk, the following Councilmen were present: Anderson,
Harrison, and Gronwoldt.
Absent: Councilman Dunlap
Mayor August H. Gronwoldt stated the business to be transacted at this
Special Meeting was:
(1) To abandon that portion of alley extending from Olive Avenue
to J Street, in the C. L. Jezler Sub -division of Block J, Dakyn Addition
to Residing.
(2) To consider adoption of a Lease between the City of Redding and
the United States of.America for seven acre s.more or less on Cypress Ave.
The notice of special meeting was signed by Councilmen Anderson, Dunlap,
Harrison and Gronwoldt:
Resolution No.. 1267
A Resolution, declaring Intention to, close up alley in Jezler Sub -division
from Olive Avenue to J Street in the City of Redding, County of Shasta,
State -of California was read by City Attorney Glenn D. Newton and adopted
by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Anderson, Harrison and Gronwoldt
Noes: Councilmen:. None
Absent: Councilman Dunlap
Resolution No. 1268
A -resolution adopting the lease between the City of Redding and the United
States of American for seven acres more or less on Cypress Ave. was read
by. Pity Attorney Glenn D. Newton and adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Counc-iLnen: Anderson, Harrison and Gronwoldt
Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent: Councilman: Dunlap
There being no further business, the meeting was duly adjourned.
