Redding may purchase bonds in a re�ular and systematic manrier through �the City
Treasurer. Councilman Anderson made a rnotior� that tnis resolution be adopted;
Councilman L'unl�p seconded the moticn, and ori roll call, resolution e��as
passed and ad�pted. �

ion of an a�reement with the Pacific Gas and �Llectric Co: , to installa temp-
or�ry telephene line from S�asta to Tshema:
Petition of Hiohland Park Residents.
A petition �rras filed by householders in the Hig hland Addition to Redding,
requestin� that the Council close the minature race track in that vicinity.
This petition w�s referr�d to the Chief of Poliee.

A teleoram from Chester .T Deutsch, Re�ional Specialist V'JPB, requestin; the
represen;tation of the City of Redding at a mee�iag to be hel-d in San Fran-
cisco on Uctober 22nd. City Engineer Pearl and Gouncilman .Anderson were
deleg�ted to attend this meeting. '

City Health Ufficer Saeltzer was instructed�to ��`cooperate with the CYiief of Police
, relative to the prevention of the use of the City Streets for storage space by
vaiious business firms. - '
Councilman Haskell suggested that some action�be taken relative to an audit
of the City records. Decision was posponed until the next ;neet.ing.
Thez�e being no f.urther business, the :neeting�was adjourned until Saturday
