City Attorney Newton, Gity �:n�ineer Ada�as, City Electrician Dick, Fire EhieP Klaukens, Chief' of' Police Riley were present, also Health Ufficer Saeltzer. Resolution No. 12I�. A resolution objecting on the part of the City of Redding to a Certain ta� sale ir;tended bs the Tax �ollector oP the County of �hasta was introduced and read - by tbe Cit�� Attorney. Councilnian 40illiams made a motion that this resolution be adopted, seconded by Councilman Dunlap and passed by unar,imous vote of all Councilmen present. Certified copies of t.his resolution mailed to Shasta County Tax Col�ector, and to Shasta Coun�y Board of Supervisors. Appointment of 0.4V. Murphy as Assistant tc the IIealth OPficer. A letter evas read fro.r: certain members of the Redding iulosquito Abatement Distatict requc�sting that the Council appoint O.V�. �flurphy as Assistant to the City Health OPficer. Upon a motion by Councilman Prilliams, seconded by Gouhcilman Haskell, this ap pointment was approved by unanimous note of all �our;cilman.
