Upon roll call by the City Clerk, the folloviing Councilmen were present: Brodie 1askell, Ivan A. Dunlap, A.H. Gronwoldt. Absent: C. y. Williams, C.V. Hill. The following dep artment heads were present , Adams, Dick -9. Sidewalks South of town. lv1r. Tia rry Bostick appeared before the Cou:,cil and reUuested that some provision be made for a sidewalk. through the park south of town in order to prevelit edestrians frora ia;vi to walk on the main highway. This ::latter was referred to City Engi leer J.�_daLrs. Resignation of C.V. hill. C.V. Tull submitted his resignation by .letter to the City Clerk as a member of the City Council effective June 9, 1941. After tiie reading of this letter Cbunciliran 1 askell made a motion that this resignation be accepted, motion seconded by Counci lcikln Dunlap, and approved by unanim_)us vote of all councilmen F -)resent. .Resolution T o . 12061 A resolution requesting that the agreement between the City of Redding, and the California Water 6"ervice wherein the City agreed to purchaase certdtin properties of the California Water Service Corrpany for '45,000.00 be rescinded by boti parties, and the ivlayor and the City Clerk of the City of Redding be author- ized to offer the California '`,,'.'a.:eraervice Co�ipany 9"27,500.00 for certain properties of the California v,iater Servicear,y was read by the City Clerk. Upon a motion by councilman Haskell, seconded by Councilman Dunlap, this resolution was passed by unanimous vote of all councilmen L2re:sent. Letter to California 'V:,`aterServie:e Co pan7f.
