Chamber of CommErce of �eddin�;, and requested that �ayment of
:�500 .00 ti7at had been alloted t� the Cliamber� of Comtrlerce be
paid. �pon a motion by Couneilrn�n Frazier seconded by Council-
man �'riliiau.�;, and passed b�r vote of all councilman r�resent
tne City Cierl� vvas directed to issue a check for this payment .

r�� n present , �5,OOO.QO was ordered transf�rred from the Electric
to the �eneral Fund.

Fire Chief �.enry Klaukens appeared before the �ity Courieil re-
c�uestin� that bids �e sacured for 900 feet o� 3 incY� fire hose,
with 22 ineh couplir�g and 1000 feet of 3” hose with 2; ineh coup-
lir�g, that iie stated was necessary for adec�uate fire protection
z�or the city of Redding. Upon a motion by Councilman t�Yilliams,
seconded by ::ouricilmari r�'�azier and ��assed by unanimou� vote of
all councilr,�en preseut , this advErtisement v�as so ordered, and
ti�e �,%ity Attorney va�-;s instructed to prepare tne riecessary aclver-
tisernent .
