Fire Chief �.enry Klaukens appeared before the �ity Courieil re- c�uestin� that bids �e sacured for 900 feet o� 3 incY� fire hose, with 22 ineh couplir�g and 1000 feet of 3” hose with 2; ineh coup- lir�g, that iie stated was necessary for adec�uate fire protection z�or the city of Redding.
