Thatcher City Atto:rney Glenn D. Newton was present. Reddin� Rodeo Association. A bill was presented by the Reddin; r�odeo Association in the amount of �516.37. Upon a motion by Couneilman Gronvu�ldt , secouded bJ Councilman i3i11 and passed Qy vote of all present, the C.ity Clerk was� instructed to draw a checis for �500 as a donation to tnis Asso�iation in accordance with the authorization ¢iven at a prior meetin�. Meetin� Of The Fire Protection Plan. . A letter was introduced by T. A. Graves, 5tate Ran�er invitin�, the City Council to participate in a meetir�; at tahe Golden Eae1.e Hotel, october 3, 1940. Fire Insurance. The City Clerk was instructed to notify various brokers holding policies ior fire insurance under a bl anLet policy issued to the City of Reddin� on which a claim of �194.32 was paid and to instruct these various broxers to re-instate these policies in tYzeir original amount. Salarv Of A. E. Souza. A bill was prese nted by A. F. SouLa for services�he stated he had re_ndered as ta� collector pgliminary to takin� office� for July and August for �200 which bill was questioned by the City Clerk as not havin� b�en included in the budget for the fiscal year. Upon advice by the City Couneil to the e�fect that t�is clair� �vas legal and snould be paid, the City Clerk was ordered to draw a voucher by the unanimous appr�val of all Couneilmen present. Annusl. Auclit. Upon a motion by Councilman Frazier, seconded by Councilman Gronveoldt , the Pirm of.
