after which the City Attorney was instructed to prepare a su�plementary
petition to be si�ned by t�ie property owners concerned upon completion
of which the City Council would pass a resolutian of acceptancea

- T�ara Alfred Faulkner appeared and stated he had read press reports on
the Annual City Audit made by him for the year 19�.$-�.9 and there were
a few things he would l�ke to have clarified, particularly the state:�ent
on r�issin� pagese Mayror Sirnolis explained ti�at the audits missing from
the City Clerkt s files we�ee no reflection on I�Tr. Fa�ali�ner. i�r. Faulkner
stated that he had origina�lyr been requested to make two •copies, but tr,at
at the last minute sor�ieo�le asked him to Yfa'.:e e�tra copies so that all
of i;he Councilr�en wauld have a cop�o �:id d.�.�e �o the shori� ��oticc he had

Faulkner for another year: He gave his reaso:ns as �folloti�rs: 4PLast year,

believe it is a ;ood policy to hire the same auc�itor two years in

After much discussion Faul�cner withdrew his application -�o audit
the City books for 19�.g-1950e -
