and presented. a survey of the City i ousinr, situation.
Harry Bostwick, Chairman of tih.e City Housing Co!ulmittee, reported tide City
is poorly housed in very cramped ru.a.r•ters.
Pat TVcCarty, speakirng for I7orvard Thatcher, Chairman of the -Finance Committee,
sup;,:ested a complete study be made of the present tax structure and that the
City get a tax expert -to make t ais study.

A recess was .called at 11 .30 a.m. to request the presence of t1 -,e City Attorney.

llolland and appointment of Ldna LaCoss as City Clerl>�and . Assessor, pro tem,
presented to City Attorney for his opinion. City Ai.t:orn.ev approved. procedure.
City Attorney -then instructed- to nofity i_nsi.zrance carrier to cancel City Clerk
Holland's bond and Have issued a temporary bond to cover City Cl_err-, pro tem.

Councilman I'_`orrison remarked that before Loris Liolland resi` ned as City
Clerl-, she steted she was satisfied Y�ith her work ard. ?;e felt under the
circumstances someone should met a. st.^temert from rler as to her reason
for resigning . City Attorney Carlton authorized to talk with Loris Holland.
