imm,ediate steps be taken to prqvide off-street parking, The availability of
a very desirable lot at no rental expense and lending itself to very inexpen�sive
development, with which_we. understand you are familiar, should make it poss-
ible for the new Parking Commission to test the need for off-stre'et parking at
an immediate date and at very slight expense.
The Merch,ants also ask that the new commission make a study of other parking
problems which will be presented to it in due course and at the convenience of the
members thereof.

of Mr. W?lls, but-di�d not represent him. May.or Williams authorized the City Attorney
to inform Mr. Wells .of the survey being done by the State and suggested Mr. Wells be
advised upon completion of this work.

any day, to park any vehicle, or leave the same standing, on any portion of the
streets, alleys, or highways of the City of Redding at ariy point within,the.parking
area as herein defined, �or outside such area at any point where such street, alley
or highway is paved the full width thereof; provided, however, that such prohibitiori.
