The City Council .of the City of Redcling does ordain as follows, to�wit:

� Section 1I95 of Part ZV, .Chapter II, Article II of the Municipal Code of the
City of Redding is .hereby arnended to. read as follows:
"5ecti.on 1195. Waste or Vent Pipes.
(a) All soil pipes, inclU.ding waste pipes, must be of brass, copper, galw "
vaniaed iron, lead or cas.t iron dipped in coal tar pitch while hot so:as to form a
hard uniform coating, All cast iron must be free from holes or cracks. Crackecl
hubs or pipes sha11 not be used; double hubs, sleeves, bands or sadclles shall not
be used .on waste lines,, and all soil pipes and fittings must be "S.tanda-rd" or "Extra
Heavy'' qua.lity. _, _ _. � _ _
(b) ; Vent Pipes_ shall be either:.of the specificatipns and types specified in
subdivision.(a) hereof_or shall be Johri Mansville transite pipe and free from �oles
� or cracks, and no cracked hubs or pipes shall-be used. " � �

Manager had reported the Oak Ridge Sewer Distr.ict project was.completed with
exception of the nece�sary_ street .repair, which work would be com�le-ted when
the weather permitted by the contractor. J. 'P.... Brennan. A letter to this effect
from Mr. B.rennan would be on file with the City Attorney.
