AJIaY 29 1951
Honorable Mayor & City Council
Redding, California
Gentlemen:
I am writing to you regarding city watr for the Kutras_ subdivision>
I have now sold quite a lage group of lots in my subdivision and
adjoining it and the people are quite desirous of obtaining water,
One ;nari 'has already drilled a well to use until he can get city water.
Another reason I am bringing this to pour attention is that I am
now bring'ing South Street as dedicated up to standars to have it
accepte by the Ci.ty.
I have all of the base in this street and have some additional grad-
ing due on it before placing the finer surfacing material on South
Street .:
. .. ., .
After `this is done I plan to oil the street from gutter to gutter
so that we have a good street acceptable to the City
. In addition to this I have in conjunction with the Anderson Cottonwood
Irrigation Di'strict constructed a bri:dge across the_ canal at the lower
end of :outh Street to give proper access to the propertye
I feel that the weter lin should be installed before tlie street is
fizished and believe that there are now an adequate 'number of potential
users to ju`stify the city running this mains Also th-is main can be
used to furnish water to Don iawkey, John Trisdale and the Interlines.
Very truly yours,
s/. Christ Kutras
