Section. 1356B of Article 1, Chapter III, Part IV of the ��Iunicipal Code of the City of Redding is hereby amended �o read as follows� Section 1356b: Every operator of a vehicle traversing East Street in either direetion shall bring such vehicle to a full stop at a place where such street enters Hutte Street and prior to the entry of such vehicle onto said Butte Street. Every operator of a �rehicle traversing Shasta Street in either direction shall bring such vehicle to a full stop at the place where such street enters West Street and prior to the entry of said vehicle onto said West Street. In addition, there is hereby established one loading zone in eaeh block of the parking area of the City of ftedding heretofore established in this code and the Chief of Folice shall establish such loading zone in each block and not niore than one to such block, and at a location whieh will a�ford the most convenience in loading and unloading. Such zone loca�ions may beichanged by the Chief of Police from day to day, within such blocks so as to meet the pur- poses hereof. If a loading zone is unnecessary in a particular block on any day the Chief of Folice shall not establish a loading zone therein on such day. The Chief of Police shall place hoods over one of the meters in such block at th.e point where such loading zone is established and such hood shall state that a loading zone esists at such parking place between the hour of ? o t clock �l.1��. and 12 0�clock Noon of each day other than on Sundays. and holidays, � Stops within the loading zone established in subsection (b) shall be for loading and unloading materials only and it shall be � unlawful for the operator of a vehicle to stop said vehicle in such loading zone for a time longer than is necessary for the loading or unloading of- the materials thereon and in no case longer than twenty rninut e s. The loading zones herein established and to be designated by the Chief of Police shall be limited to the hours of seven o4cloek and twelve otclock, noon of each day other than Sundays and holidays. � The other loading zones hereinabove referred to in su�,section (a) shall not be limited as to time or days but sha11 constitute loading zones at all hours of each day. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a vehicle to stop or park th� sarne for any period of time whatever at any point within the parking area or business district immediately in front of theaters, or within fifteen feet of a fire hydrant or intersection, or at any other place which the City Council of the City of Redding shall be resolution declare to be unsuitable, dan- gerous or in�convenient for parking and wherein parking is therefore prohibited. �ection 3 . No operator of a vehicle shall stop said v�hicle in a loading zone except for the purpose of loading and unloading pass- engers or rnaterials as herein provided and for the l�ngth of tirne only as herein provided. Section 1�.
