The meeting was called to order by Mayar Fleharty and up�on roll call the fflll�owing
c�uncilmen were present: Anthany, Holyfield, Simans, Smith and Fleharty,
City Attorney Cibula and.City Manager Cowden were.also present.

� Cauncil were advised by the City Engineer that interested property flwners
on�S'arita Fe Avenue were n�tified an August 19th that unless the �wners
of 75°jo of the property prapose`d t�o be improved under this petition had
made the necessary payments to the City Treasurer prior to N�ovember lOth,
pr�ject w�ould be cancelled and 'manies depasited�w�uld be refunded.
Louise Fancher, Ci:ty Treasurer, in a cflmmunicatian dated November
21st advised that the required �75ajo af the property owners had not made '
pa'yrnent, and she therefore requested cancellation of the project and
authorization to refund such m�onies that'had been deposited.

that the Santa Fe Avenue Project 55-1-S be cancelled and all m�nies
depmsited refiznded t�o the owners.

f�or this service rendered he sh�ould receive free.electric service in the
am�unt �of $10, 00 per month, ar cash for seven xn��nths of the year; that ke
further be reimbursed for the additiflnal insurance.premium it was necessary
° far hirn t�o carry,� as the park was open t� the public and had playground equip-
ment.
It was requested,this subject be referred t�o the Recreation-Parks Commissi�n
for f�rmal recommendati�on, .It was further suggested. a Hold Harmless Agree-
m�nt sh�uld be c�onsidered.

Athens and S�uth Streets, hawever this motion, and sec�nd were withdrawn and
the matter referred t� the City Engineer, Chief �of Police and the P`olice Committee
