The meeting was call�d ta, order and upon roll call the follawing councilmen were
present: Anth�ny, Simons, Srnith and Fleharty. Absent: Cfluncilman Holyfield.

City Attorney Cibula, rep�orting ve rbally, advised that Mr. Leigh Smith,
Divisi�on Manager �f the Pacific Gas and E�1•:e;ctr.�i,c Gampany,had stated that
inventory, appraisal and_a rec�mmendation to the problem af handling Pacific
Gas and Electric service beyond the Woodlawn Addition w�uld be presented t�
management next week, and �official offer would be submitted t� the City Counci'1
b'y the first meeting in.August. �
���' R.E SEWERS - Walnut & Olive 3treet Area �
Mre Alec McKinn�n, City Engineer, stated a letter dated May llth had been�
received fr�om Mr. Farley regarding th�e construction �of sewers north end �f
Walnut Street area, and council were adyised �of the engineering pr�blem facing
sewer construction in this area, �

City Engineer McKinnon reported on a meeting with State and Federal affi•cials
on the questi�on of what pr�tectiori wfluld be required -- levee or otherwise --
to the propos.ed Village Subdivisi�n, and possible partions of the Kutras Tract.

The City C.ouncil, having sat as a Board of Equalization at adjourned meetings
and in continuous session until this date, and all returns of the City Assessor
having been c�nsidered, and there being n�o objections or protests, and there
being no further business brought bef�re the Council as a Board of Equalization,
on mation �f C:auncilm�.n 5imans, seconded by C�uncilman Anthony, the City
CDuncil adjourned as a Board �of Equalizati�on. The V�te; Unanim�us Ayes.
