".� � � RE VACATIQN & SICK LEAVE .- S.uilding Superintendent / �� In a communication dated June 28th,. City Manager Cowden advised, that acting on the recomrnendation of his `physician, Suilding Superintendent H9 E. �Mclntire had requested �one manth leave, two weeks to be applied �on his vacatic�n, tw� weeks against his accrued sick leave (30 days acc.r.ued sick leave caming to him). Mr, Mel Sornberger, f�ormer building inspector of the City, was rec�ommended to assurne duties during Mr. .McIntire's absence, t�. sp'end tw�o haurs iri the m�orn- ing and two hours in the afternoon performing the duties of the building inspect�or, at a salary �f $75. 00 per week, iricluding car expenses. It was further re- commended $400: 00 sick leave be allowed in the 1955-56 budget for this depart- ment. . � MOTION:. ._Made by Councilman Halyfield, seconded by.
