H. T. Barnard, speaking from the floor, stated he was in favor of the Auditorium, , but not in favor. of the Sales Tax as business at the present time was faced with a deflated market. Elmer Junkans que,stioned the City Attorney on what constituted a sale.made outside . the`City and `not su:bject to the city sale's tax, stating tliat several concerns�, opposing the Sales Tax, had expressed their determination that pa.rt of�their business=would , , �. - � _ be taken out of the City.
