The meeting was called to-order by Mayor Anthony and upon roll call the following

should be brought before a �full council and when the City Attorney and City
Manager were present, some action, would be taken but the meeting would
be adjourned_until Monday, October 26_th at 8:00 P.M. to complete the remainder

Inter-Gounty Chambe_rs of Commerce
The m�nthly report on the vneeting of the Inter.-County Chambers of
Commerce held in Hayfork, September 15th was presented for Council

An invitation to a dinner meeting to be held in A.lturas at the Hotel Niles,
October 2Oth, 6;30 P, M, was extended to Council members. -

Waste W�:ter Reclaxnation in relation�to-Ground Water Pollution
A letter and book, received from the State was referred to�the City
Manager, . .
Parks Commission recommendation .
The R.edding,Parks Commission in a letter dated October 16th, re=
quested outside walks for highway 99 bridge ov.er the �Sacramerito
River. This letter was to be held for the.adjourned meeting ,
Plans`= Service Station�--5tandard Oil
Plans to be submitted to the Council by �S'tandard�Oil`for the service
station at G:old,and Market Streets are to be submitted at the adjourried
meeting. � . _ .
Architect --Civi'c Auditorium - � `
Letter from Clayton Krantz, architect, dated October lOth, requesting
consideration and stating qualifications as architect for the proposed
Civic Auditorium is to be p.resented at the adjourned meeting .as the
Auditorium C'omniittee is to meet at noon October ZOth.

C'ouncil and stated.due to a ditch having been cut, later moved and lots
lev.eled by Joe Sauer, the water drainage was'.heade:d through'his- garage.
Coitncilman 5rizith liad been to see it and agreed:ther'e�was a' water problem
to.be soTved. Councilman�"W'iTiiams`asked'.if Mr. G'errrmari were making
, a claim against the City or Joe Sauer. Mr,' German stated that he wanted
to kriow what could be done.
Mayor Anthony r.eferred this problem to .the City Mdnag:er and Engineers,

dan�erous situation exists_ between Magnolia and Willis Sts. on Eureka.

Way where an open_street enters a narr.ow stretch then widens. Cauncilman
Williarns wouldyrno.ve that action be taken but withdr'ew the motion when,it
was decided.to refer the action until the adjourried rneeting.
