RE PARKING DISTRICT ' Councilmen met with the Parking District Committee for consideration of several items. - � I MOTION: Made by Councilman Sim'ons, seconded by Counci'lman Puryear that � ��I council pledge the surplus amount in the On and Off-Street Parking Fund as of June 30, 1960, to the Parking Assessrnent District, less the amount paid to ��. 'v''r ',� 94 the County for the �park in back of the library, and further less the sum re- , quired to convert saii-1 �ar=k into'a parking area, including the cost of the transfer arid preservation of the Palm Trees to a suitable location to be later determined by the City Council. The Vote: Unanimous Ayes. � M(JTION: IV�ade by Councilman Puryear, seconded by C�uncilman Simon.s that City Council agree to make the park in back of the library a parki�ng lot and part of the Parking Assessment District, and further agrees to commence as soon as possible to convert the same to a parking lot in advance of the i formal formation of the Parking Assessment District, urider the terms set forth in the .prior motion, The Vote: Unanimous Ayes.
