The Meeting was called to order by Mayor Moty with the following Councilmen
present: Denny, Doherty, Fulton and Moty. Councilman Chatfield arrived at
8:30 P.M.
Also present were City Manager Cowden, Purchasing Director and Assistant
City Manager S�ewart, City Attorney Murphy, Finance Director Courtney,
Planning Director Keyes, Public Works Director Arness, and Traffic Engineer
Freeman.

RESGLUTION - East Redding Industrial Park
City Attorney Murphy submitted Resolution No.. 3501, approving the final map
of East Redding Industrial Park Subdivision and authorizing the Mayor to execute
the subdivision agreement between the subdividers and the City of Redding.
Mr. Murphy recommended that Council adopt the Resolution, subject to the
wording that the Mayor be authorized to execute ;the subdivision agreement
and the City Clerk be authorized to transmit the final map to the County Clerk
only at such time as Bond Counsel has approved the General Contractor's
Bond and the City Attorney has approved the original letter of credit which the
subdivi.der is ; submitting.

for East Redding zndustrial Park Assessment District, and Mr. Jack Pine,
developer, the General Contractor's Agreement between A. Teichert & Son
and the City of Redding has been signed by Teichert and approved by the City ./,�/
Attorney, and Council is now asked to authorize the Mayor to execute said
,i Agreement on behalf of the City, subject to B ond Coilnsel�s approval.

Councilman Doherty asked if the above was policy procedure and if all claims
were handled in the same manner. City Attorne y Murphy advised that this was
correct and the only deviation'is if the Insurance Carrier settles the claim
before it comes before Council.
